Dan McCauley

Principal

Dan has a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in the project management and coordination of life science, electronics/high tech, and tenant improvement projects having worked in the industry for over 30 years. He has lead client project teams, including designers, contractors and direct vendors, in the initiation, execution and completion of a wide variety of projects, from small scale modifications in existing improved facilities to full-scale buildouts from existing core and shell facilities. He has also provided project management consulting to clients of landlord-build projects.

Dan’s projects have involved many space types including dry and wet labs; production, manufacturing, automation and specialty lab facilities; vivaria; corporate office environments; cafeterias, auditoriums, conference and fitness facilities; and requisite support spaces for these space types. In addition, he has worked with a vast range of clients throughout his career from start-ups like Acelyrin and Karius to established organizations such as Amgen, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Genentech and HP.

As a licensed architect in the state of California since 1995, he has extensive expertise in the design and documentation of these project types and has performed design related services for select clients. Dan has recently managed successful projects for Prothena, Sangamo, Lyell, Codexis and MyoKardia.

Dan holds a B.A. in Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a licensed architect in the State of California.
